Recently I saw a greeting card with the message, “When I count my blessings I count you twice.” There are so many wonderful people in my life – I count each of them twice.

And wonderful places. The Japanese Garden at Chicago’s Botanical Park is close to heaven Take a look and you will see what I mean.

Spending an afternoon there was definitely counting twice in my blessing.

The beautiful thing about gratitue is that it feeds the feeling of happiness. So feel happy, access gratitude for that happiness, and then feel more happy. Fantastic.

Be happy so often that being happy is an ordinary thing. There are many definitions of happy.

But how does happiness feel? Take one minute and twenty-two seconds to feel happiness now. Look and listen to Ethan delighting in the sound of paper being torn.

What a happy-causing video this is. I start laughing with the baby even if I watch video without the audio. And it is fun to see how long the happy feeling lingers.
